OREANDA-NEWS  The International Skating Union (ISU) will find a loophole and will not allow foreign figure skaters to compete in Russia, despite the decision of the Court of the European Union, Anton Sikharulidze, acting president of the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR), said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Earlier, the European Court of Justice banned the ISU from punishing figure skaters, speed skaters and short-track athletes for participating in competitions not sanctioned by the organization.

"There was no time in Chelyabinsk to discuss this news and put forward any ideas," Sikharulidze said. - Besides, understanding what ISU functionaries are breathing now, I am sure they will find a loophole to ban figure skaters from participating in competitions in Russia anyway. We do not have any euphoria after the decision of the respected court. We see how foreign "partners" have been behaving over the past few years."
