OREANDA-NEWS Eleven empty freight wagons derailed on the company's access roads in Naberezhnye Chelny, and a recovery team was formed to eliminate the consequences, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Tatarstan.

"On the access railway tracks of Railway Management LLC in the Komsomolsk district, near Avtoremontnaya Street, 11 empty freight wagons of a freight train derailed during scheduled shunting operations," the report says.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, there are no casualties. This section does not belong to Russian Railways, train traffic in the adjacent sections has not been interrupted, and there are no delays in the train schedule.

"A recovery team has been formed by the owner of the facility to eliminate the consequences of the collapse. Repair and restoration work is scheduled for the current day," the message adds.

As specified in the department, the causes of the incident are being established by a special technical commission.
