OREANDA-NEWS A helicopter with emergency services specialists on board took off from Abakan in the direction of Kuragino to conduct a rescue operation. This was reported in the main directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, RIA Novosti reports.

Next, the aircraft will head directly to the taiga zone of the Kuraginsky municipal district, where an incident involving a bear attack on a hunter was previously recorded.

Currently, the partner of the deceased man is in the area of the incident, who needs help and evacuation.
The representative of the regional department clarified that after arriving in Kuragino, rescuers are likely to immediately proceed to the scene of the incident in the taiga.

Earlier it was reported that hunters were stuck in the Krasnoyarsk taiga with a dead comrade. Their friend was picked up by a bear, and due to bad weather, the Ministry of Emergency Situations could not reach their parking lot for a week.
