OREANDA-NEWS  The foreigner wanted to smuggle 3.5 kilograms of jade.  This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Federal Customs Service (FCS).

The man was checked in the green corridor during a random inspection. Customs officers found eight rectangular green stones in his luggage. The examination established that the contents are unprocessed jade, and its export outside the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) for personal purposes is prohibited. The foreign citizen confirmed that he wanted to export the mineral with such intentions.

An administrative case was opened against the man for non-compliance with prohibitions and restrictions. He faces a fine with confiscation of the goods.

Earlier, a foreigner was caught with jewelry worth six million rubles at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport. They found two bracelets and a VCA ring, two BVLGARI rings and a chain with a GRAFF pendant.
