OREANDA-NEWS  Turkish exporters have faced restrictions when participating in European government tenders due to Turkey's lack of membership in the GPA agreement of the World Trade Organization, the Turkish economic newspaper Dunya reported on Monday.

"Turkish companies are facing a new "invisible customs wall" in global trade," the newspaper notes.

According to the newspaper, the public procurement market is estimated at about $ 1.7 trillion, but participation in a number of large EU tenders is limited only to countries participating in the WTO Agreement on Public Procurement (GPA).
