OREANDA-NEWS  Law enforcement agencies thwarted a mass murder that was being prepared by a 15-year-old teenager at a school in the Udorsky district of the Komi Republic. This is reported by TASS.

The boy planned to commit a crime in May using his father's firearm. He told the group's online users about his plan and method of murder. This information reached the law enforcement authorities, and they detained the teenager.

The Ust-Vymsky District Court arrested him until May 10. According to the investigation, the student decided to commit a crime in May 2025, driven by personal hostility. He became interested in the idea of killing teachers and classmates and began to study online materials about earlier armed attacks on schools. A criminal case has been opened against him under Article 105 ("Preparation for the murder of two or more persons") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Earlier it was reported that teachers in the Perm Region were ordered to monitor the conversations of children in schools after an armed attack by a teenager at secondary school No. 1 in Alexandrovsk. A seventh-grader stabbed a peer on February 19.
