“Moscow receives more and more tourists every year, and a contact center is an important step to get feedback from them. A short number 122 is easy to remember and conveniently dial on a mobile phone - it takes a few seconds. Contact center operators advise in Russian and English, which is undoubtedly important, given the growing number of foreign tourists in Moscow. The accumulated experiment was used to create the Moscow center for tourist information support, including the hotline of the Department of Transport and the development of road transport infrastructure during the 2018 World Cup, ”the Committee on Tourism said.

The operators of the citywide contact center in Moscow will answer questions arising from tourists: how to pay for the metro and how to get to the airport, how to get from one point of the route to another and where to rent a bike. Also, experts will tell about interesting city events and festivals taking place in the capital, share the addresses of museums, stadiums, parks and other attractions. Tourists will be told the addresses and opening hours of embassies, consulates and visa centers, and, of course, the center’s staff will certainly come to the rescue in an emergency.
