OREANDA-NEWS The Meshchansky District Court of Moscow sent Alexander Kondratov, 52-year-old production designer of the TV series Liquidation, to jail in a case of treason. This was reported by TASS with reference to the documents reviewed by the agency.

The man is charged under Article 275 ("High treason") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The Moscow City Court has already recognized his arrest as lawful.

According to the agency, in early May Kondratov was already detained for minor hooliganism. Then the court sentenced him to 15 days of administrative arrest. After that, he was repeatedly arrested on administrative matters.

Earlier, three men were detained in Crimea for transmitting data to the military intelligence service of Ukraine.
