A refugee from Ukraine received 18 years in a penal colony in Russia

OREANDA-NEWS In Mordovia, a refugee from Ukraine was sentenced to 18 years in a penal colony. This is reported by TASS.
He was found guilty under articles 30, 205 ("Attempted terrorist act") and 30, 275 ("Attempted treason") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
According to the court, 55-year-old Andrei Lazarenko, a native of the Donetsk region of the Ukrainian SSR, was sent to the Republic of Mordovia as part of a group of refugees after the start of a special military operation (SVO), where he received Russian citizenship. At the same time, for ideological reasons, he decided to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces by committing sabotage and terrorist acts on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Through one of the messengers, he began communicating with a representative of a terrorist organization banned in Russia. Lazarenko offered to set fire to an administrative building in the region, for help with returning to Ukraine and a monetary reward.
FSB officers identified his illegal activities and detained him while attempting arson.
The court sentenced him to 18 years in a high-security penal colony.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian received three thousand rubles and 13 years in prison.
