OREANDA-NEWS After a powerful earthquake in Kamchatka, a tsunami occurred even on freshwater Lake Kurilsky, writes RBC.

For example, a four-meter wave was spotted in the Yelizovsky district of Kamchatka. Later, a tsunami threat was announced on all the Kuril Islands. And in Severo-Kurilsk there were four tsunami waves. The operational services of the region clarified that the height of the waves exceeded three meters, and the most powerful in appearance reached five meters.
