A unique festival will be held in Moscow

OREANDA-NEWS VKontakte will hold a Fandom Fest that will unite thousands of fans of different directions of pop culture. The festival will be held on November 10-12 at the Moscow festival site — Main Stage. This is reported in the press release of the social network.
The first day of the Fandom Fest was called "It will be funny", the second — "It will be debak", the third — "It will be on the screens". For three days, a cosplay contest will be held on the main stage in various subjects: video games, Asian culture, cinema and comics. There will also be a K-pop Cover Dance Champ dance contest — 10 teams will compete in it, which will pass an online selection in advance. The total prize fund of the competition program will be more than one million rubles.
The audience is also waiting for presentations of film projects from film crews, Q&A sessions with invited guests, a show match with streamers, lightsaber battles, comic book announcements and gift draws. Cosplayers will take the stage outside of the competition program. The hosts of the platform will be Sergey Hobbit, Vladimir Bratishkinoff, Tema Pimenov and Dmitry Chebotarev.
Fans of digital games, online tournaments, slot machines and table games are waiting for the "Games" and "Board Games" zones. The presenters will be Chermen Kachmazov and Marina Tinker. In the "Pop Projects" zone, visitors will be able to see stands from content creators and fandoms, for example, from the Bubble publishing house, and in the "Fan Meeting" they will be able to chat with their favorite authors and artists.
Cover dance stars Sasha Bogomyagkova, Dan Kang and Maxim Bon will perform on the main stage of the festival. Fans of the Atomic Heart game will be able to see on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater artists Anita Pudikova and Denis Medvedev, who gave the appearance and voice to the heroes of the game.
"The festival will unite fans of anime, video games, esports, cosplay, k-pop, doramas, webtoon and digital art. All these areas are very different, but the boundaries between them will disappear at the Fandom Fest," said Alexander Nikiforov, Marketing Director of VKontakte.
Those who wish to participate in the cosplay contest can submit an application by October 14. To participate in the K-pop Cover Dance Champ — until October 18.
