OREANDA-NEWS A restaurant registry will be formed in St. Petersburg. The city Committee on Industrial Policy, Innovation and Trade announced that it has the authority to form and maintain an appropriate list, which will include information about legal entities and sole proprietors: name, address of the facility, INN.

"The Committee is conducting a preliminary assessment of the number of public catering facilities to be included in the Register and is ready to receive applications from organizations engaged in the retail sale of alcoholic beverages," the authorities said, adding that they had already received 60 applications for inclusion in the list.

The urgency of the issue is related to the fact that since September 1, the law has restricted the activities of "bulk carriers" in apartment buildings in St. Petersburg. Now, establishments located there that wish to sell alcohol, with an area of at least 50 meters, must have a separate entrance, toilets for visitors and staff, an equipped place for cooking, at least five full-time employees, and an emergency call button.

The document will not apply to restaurants that will have to meet the criteria listed above.
