OREANDA-NEWS An outbreak of a dangerous disease, salmonellosis, has occurred in the Teremok kindergarten in Nyagan. The prosecutor's office of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (KhMAO) reports on the injured children in the Telegram channel.
The head of Nyagan, Ivan Yamashev, had previously reported that cases of salmonellosis had been detected in the institution.
"According to preliminary data, 14 people with suspected acute intestinal infection have sought medical help," the prosecutor's office said in a statement.
At the moment, the supervisory authority has organized a check on the fact of mass illness of children in the institution.
Earlier it became known that in Kuzbass there was an outbreak of community‑acquired pneumonia at the Prokopievsky Boarding School for Citizens with Mental Disorders.
The head of Nyagan, Ivan Yamashev, had previously reported that cases of salmonellosis had been detected in the institution.
