OREANDA-NEWS. The level of youth support for US President Joe Biden has fallen to 39%, CNN reports, citing a Gallup study.

As the results of the analysis showed, if in the first six months after Biden came to power, he was supported by six out of ten representatives of generation Z, that is, born in 1997-2004, then by March of this year, only 39% of young people spoke out in support of the American leader.

A decrease in the level of support for the incumbent president is also observed among representatives of generation Y - people born in 1981-1996. Among them, the rating of the head of the White House showed a drop from 60% to 41%.

The level of support for the president fell not so significantly among the "boomers" - those born in 1946-1964. It decreased by only 7% - from 53% to 46%. On the part of the "traditionalists" (1928-1945), the percentage of support for Biden has not changed - it is 48%.

A few days earlier, it was reported that Biden's job approval rating had fallen to an all-time low. It is noted that this is the lowest rating of Biden since the beginning of his tenure as president.

According to a March 21 and 22 poll, 54% of US citizens disapprove of the work of the incumbent American leader amid high inflation in the United States and the situation in Ukraine.

Earlier, former US Vice President Mike Pence said on Fox News that Joe Biden is the worst president of the country in its modern history.
