OREANDA-NEWS  The vast majority of Russian state-owned companies could be privatized, according to the head of the BEAC, German Gref. He is quoted by TASS.

In particular, the BEAC can be privatized, Gref added. "We are a very attractive asset, they will be happy to buy us," he stated.

At the same time, funds from privatization should be directed to the implementation of investment projects in Russia, the head of the Beac is sure. For example, if the state someday privatizes 25 percent of the Savings Bank (a sufficient threshold for state control), this would increase the investment attractiveness of the Russian market and stimulate the entire financial market, he concluded.
