OREANDA-NEWS  An earthquake of magnitude 4.1 occurred in the Khabarovsk Territory. This became known to the Telegram channel 112.

According to the Russian edition, the epicenter was located near the village of Vanino, at a depth of 10 kilometers. The tremors were also felt by residents of the Sakhalin region, in the Uglegorsk area.

There were no reports of damage or casualties in the regions. The authorities have not yet commented on the incident.

Prior to this, it was reported that an earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred in the Southern Kuril Islands.

At that time, the epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Pacific Ocean, 141 kilometers east of the village of Malokurilskoye on the island of Shikotan. The source was located at a depth of 45 kilometers. There was no information about casualties or infrastructural damage.
