Lavrov to visit Uzbekistan

OREANDA-NEWS Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will visit Uzbekistan from April 22 to 23. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, the correspondent of " <url>".
She said that the minister is scheduled to have a conversation with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Bakhtiyor Saidov. According to her, the main focus will be on the development of strategic cooperation between Moscow and Tashkent, regional security and interaction on the platforms of international organizations.
Earlier, Lavrov spoke about the views of Russia in the world. He noted that reliance on enduring values, respect for the identity of the peoples of the world and their right to their own path of development are the key to the formation of a more just world order.
Prior to that, Zakharova called on the UN to stop discrediting Russia. According to her, the UN Secretary General, in violation of the organization's charter, continues to cover up the actions of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky and the Kiev regime.
