OREANDA-NEWS  The Lenta Group retailer is acquiring the assets of the OBI Russia retail chain in the form of 25 stores, Lenta said in a statement.

Lenta today announces the acquisition of assets of the Do It Yourself hypermarket chain OBI Russia. The perimeter of the deal will include 25 stores with a total retail area of 263 thousand square meters. The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia has already approved the acquisition," the statement said.

It is noted that the deal will strengthen the position of the Lenta Group as a leading multi-format player in the Russian market.
