OREANDA-NEWS  The West must build a dialogue with Moscow, without it peace in Europe is impossible, French President Emmanuel Macron said.

"None of us will be able to change the geography of Russia. It will always remain a part of Europe. Our dilemma is that there will never be a reliable and complete peace on our continent until we learn how to solve the "Russian issue", but with all sanity," the politician said during a speech at the Munich Security Conference.

According to Macron, the Western world needs to have "strength and courage" to start a dialogue with Moscow again and find a sustainable solution to all pressing issues. "But it is clear that now is not the time for dialogue," the French leader concluded.

Moscow has repeatedly indicated that it is ready for negotiations, but Kiev has imposed a ban on them at the legislative level. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said at the G20 summit last November that "there will be no Minsk-3.
