OREANDA-NEWS  In the near future, the State Duma may begin developing special rules and criteria for foreign companies that have left Russia and wish to return. This was stated by Alexander Spiridonov, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Industry and Trade. He was quoted by Izvestia.

According to him, it is possible that the company's behavior during the period of sanctions pressure on Russia will be taken into account. Another criterion will be the attitude towards Ukraine. If the organization supported Kiev, then this will not allow it to return to the Russian market.

The relevant committees responsible for the economy and industrial production will develop new rules. However, full-fledged work will start after most of the sanctions are lifted.

In early December, the head of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Russia, Robert Agee, said that companies operating in Russia from the United States want to expand their presence. According to him, lifting the ban on investments is the No. 1 priority.
