Novak said about the sustainability of the Russian economy

OREANDA-NEWS In the current situation, the Russian economy is showing resilience and is actively developing. This was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, quoted by TASS.
Speaking at the Tashkent International Investment Forum, the politician stressed that such results can be achieved in difficult geopolitical conditions. He recalled that the country's GDP growth in 2024 was 4.3 percent.
As noted by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Mikhail Mishustin, the growth rate of the Russian economy for two years was twice the global average.
According to Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, the significant strengthening of the ruble, which made the domestic currency the most effective in 2025, indicates the strength of the country's economy and the presence of macroeconomic stability.
