The Governor reported that the degree of provision of gas supply in the whole region now exceeds 85 percent and has increased 6 to 8 times since the beginning of the decade; the degree of provision of gas supply in the region’s rural areas is now more than 56 percent, up from about 22 percent. Dmitry Medvedev said that supplying gas to the region's villages facilitates every aspect of life, from agricultural production to improving people's living conditions.
