OREANDA-NEWS. The security forces will react decisively against the participants in unauthorized protest actions and those who are trying to destabilize the infrastructure of Belarus. This was stated by the President of the republic, Alexander Lukashenko, on October 30 during a meeting with the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The head of state stressed that he marked the “red lines,” but the protesters “crossed them in many directions.” “We are not taking prisoners. If someone touches a serviceman – I have already made a reprimand to the generals – he must leave at least without hands. I say this publicly so that everyone understands our further determination. […] We have nowhere to retreat, and we are not going to retreat,” Lukashenko said.

The Belarusian leader noted that it is necessary to react to the protests “so that there’s not a weak spot anywhere.” According to him, the organizers and participants of the riots “went through seven or eight stages of the methodology of colour revolutions, approaching the last, which are characterized by radicalization.”
