OREANDA-NEWS The Moscow City Hall agreed to hold a rally on Sakharov Avenue from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on August 10 with a stated number of participants of 100 thousand people. This follows from the document that was received at the request of the chairman of the editorial board Dmitry Muratov.

The document is addressed to the organizer of the event, an unregistered candidate for deputy of the Moscow City Duma, Elena Rusakova. At the same time, Rusakova herself denies that she agreed to a meeting on August 10 on Sakharov Avenue and that she had reached an agreement with the city hall.

In addition, the municipal deputies of Moscow filed applications for holding pickets on August 3 throughout the Boulevard Ring. The organizers plan to hold campaigns at 11 venues - from Gogolevsky to Chistoprudny Boulevards.

Since July 14, actions have been held in the capital for admitting independent candidates for elections to the Moscow City Duma. An uncoordinated rally took place on July 27, after which the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the riots.
