OREANDA-NEWS. 106 members of the US House of Representatives from the Republican Party supported the lawsuit to review the results of the presidential election in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, where the victory was won by the rival of the current head of state Donald Trump, Democrat Joe Biden. On December 8, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit with the Supreme Court of the United States demanding to review election results in the mentioned four states. Paxton claims that there were violations during processing of ballots, including those sent by mail.

After that, 17 states: Missouri, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah and West Virginia, where Republicans are in power have supported Paxton's lawsuit.
