OREANDA-NEWS. Kiev's plan to regain control over Crimea is a provocation "at the instigation of Western curators." This was stated in an interview with RIA Novosti by the permanent representative of the peninsula under the President of Russia, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic's government Georgy Muradov.

Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba named "three pillars" of policies, thanks to which the country expects the return of Crimea: this is the strategy of "de-occupation" and reintegration adopted by the National Security and Defense Council; consolidation, that is, joining the efforts of all partners; and synergy - "restoration of international law" and full sovereignty of Kiev over the peninsula.

According to Muradov, “in order to assess the level of danger in which the people of Ukraine will find themselves in the continuation of this insane course spelled out in the “strategy ”, you just need to read the Russian Constitution, its military doctrine and the statements of the Russian leadership about the fate of Ukrainian statehood as a result of encroachments on territorial integrity of Russia and the lives of its citizens.”

According to the Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea, the consistent movement of Ukraine to the edge of the abyss should at least cause alarm among the sane forces in the countries intending to support this anti-Russian provocation.

Muradov also expressed the hope that Europe and Turkey, which, according to him, "are actively encouraged to take part in a clash with Russia," will nevertheless have a sense of self-preservation and they will abandon their inclinations towards the Russian Federation.

According to the permanent representative, "it is possible that the experiment to stir up the Ukrainian-Russian clash will continue for some time. But when the fire begins to flare up, I am sure that Kiev will be left alone and will itself clean up the mess it has brewed."
