OREANDA-NEWS President Vladimir Putin gave instructions on the implementation of military accounting information systems, the relevant documents were published on the Kremlin's website.

"To carry out conscription of citizens of the Russian Federation, conducted in October — December 2024, using the state information system "Unified Register of information on citizens subject to initial military registration, citizens who are on military registration, as well as on citizens who are not, but are obliged to be on military registration" (further — the state information system) and the public register of sent (handed over) subpoenas (hereinafter — the register of subpoenas)," one of the instructions says.

The report is due by November 1, 2024, then once every six months, as indicated in the instruction. The President appointed Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu in charge.

The Head of State also instructed the Ministry of Defense to form a unit by January 15 that will implement and maintain the military accounting information system, as well as identify the deputy minister responsible for the implementation and development of this system and the register of summonses.
