OREANDA-NEWS Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev in Kyrgyzstan, where the CIS summit will be held tomorrow.

At the beginning of the event, the Russian leader recalled that not so long ago he and the President of Azerbaijan talked on the phone. He clarified that during the talks, the heads of state will pay attention to issues related to the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.

"The number one issue is the situation around Karabakh, but we have another agenda, it is quite extensive.

I suggest that we build our conversation as follows: then, maybe, we will start with the second part in order to have an opportunity to speak out and talk with colleagues. And then we will also stay face to face and talk, talk about the whole complex of sensitive issues," Putin said.
