OREANDA-NEWS  The participation of President Denis Sassou Nguesso of the Congo in events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in Moscow confirms the friendly nature of relations between the Russian Federation and the republic, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"Your participation in the events on May 9 confirms the truly friendly nature of bilateral ties based on the principles of equality and mutual respect," Putin said at talks in the Kremlin.
