Putin noted the importance of cooperation with Mongolia

OREANDA-NEWS Cooperation with Mongolia is one of Russia's priorities, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with Mongolian Prime Minister Gombozhavin Zandanshatar.
"Our cooperation with Mongolia, our neighbor, friend and strategic partner, is of independent importance to us, and this is one of our priorities," Putin said on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.
"I really hope that the work of your delegation at the Eastern Economic Forum will be useful, because there are live contacts here with Russian partners and with partners from other countries in the Asia-Pacific region," Putin added.
Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev, Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology Alexander Kozlov, Minister of Transport Andrey Nikitin, Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov, Presidential press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Maxim Oreshkin, and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov are taking part in the talks from the Russian side.
The tenth Eastern Economic Forum is taking place on September 3-6 in Vladivostok on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. The main theme of this year's WEF is "The Far East – cooperation for peace and Prosperity." RIA Novosti is the general information partner of the forum.
