OREANDA-NEWS Rostelecom presented the first domestic operating system for Aurora cars - the presentation was held at CIPR-2025, RIA Novosti correspondent reports.

"Today we are holding a presentation, the first presentation of our product. This is a product, an operating system for cars of the present future, Russian cars. This product is based on the Aurora operating system. This is the Aurora automotive operating system, and based on this operating system, we have created a multimedia solution that assumes it will be used in Russian cars of the future and present," said Rostelecom Vice President Darius Khalitov at the presentation.

He recalled that this solution was created as part of a trilateral agreement between Rostelecom, the AvtoVAZ automotive company and Itelma, the largest Russian manufacturer of microelectronics, signed at the SPIEF in 2024. Rostelecom is currently negotiating with other car manufacturers about the implementation of such an operating system.
