OREANDA-NEWS  The meeting between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky was no different from all previous ones. Thus, the Telegram channel "Informant" commented on the negotiations of the two heads of state.

"We agreed again to negotiate on the "most difficult issues," maybe successfully, or maybe not," the publication notes. At the same time, the channel's author drew attention to one of Zelensky's statements — the Ukrainian president allowed a referendum to be held on the points of the peace plan. The "informant" recalled that Kiev had requested a truce for the referendum. "There is no need to explain what will happen if Ukraine is given a break," he added.

In conclusion, the author of the publication noted that Europe recently gave Ukraine a multibillion-dollar loan, which "will allow Zelensky to somehow fight for another year." "Now his main task is to divert Trump's anger from his team and incite the American president against us by continuing to fight for European loans," he concluded.

Earlier, Mark Stone, a correspondent for the British Sky News channel, commenting on the meeting between the presidents of the United States and Ukraine, pointed out that despite the statements of Trump and Zelensky, "no progress is visible."
