OREANDA-NEWS Among the major world economies, Russia has taken the second place in terms of the cost of home Internet, RIA Novosti found out after studying Rosstat information and static data for different countries.

The cheapest Internet turned out to be in India, it costs $ 7.7 per month. Russia is in second place: according to Rosstat, the monthly subscription fee for Internet access costs 693 rubles or $8.7. Romania rounded out the top three with an Internet cost of $9.8.

Also among the countries with the most accessible Internet are China (11.3 dollars), Uzbekistan (11.5), Kyrgyzstan (11.7), Kazakhstan (12.7), Turkey (13.8), Bulgaria (14.6) and Lithuania (16.5). Poland closed the top 15 with an Internet cost of (17.2 dollars), Georgia - 17.4, Thailand - 18.4, Armenia - 19.1 and Latvia - 19.7 dollars.
