OREANDA-NEWS  Russia has protested to the UK over the illegal activities of an employee of the embassy in Moscow. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Russia.

"The Russian Foreign Ministry summoned the Charge d'affaires of the United Kingdom in Russia, D. Dolakia, who strongly protested the information that one of the diplomatic staff of the British Embassy had knowingly provided false information about himself when receiving permission to enter our country," the publication says.

The ministry stressed that Russia will not tolerate the activities of undeclared British intelligence officers. According to the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, an uncompromising line will continue to be formulated on this issue in accordance with national security issues.

Earlier, Russian FSB officers identified a British spy at the embassy in Moscow. According to them, the second secretary of the embassy, Albertus Gerhardus Janse Van Rensburg, conducted intelligence and subversive activities, who deliberately provided false information when receiving permission to enter Russia.
