OREANDA-NEWS A criminal case has been opened in the Republic of Tatarstan over an explosion at Russia's largest petrochemical plant in the city of Nizhnekamsk.
According to the investigation, the cotton in one of the workshops on the territory of Nizhnekamskneftekhim occurred due to a violation of safety rules in the technological process. The exact number of victims is being determined. The criminal case was initiated under Article 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of industrial safety requirements for hazardous production facilities").
