The program "Ambassadors of the Russian language in the world" has opened in India

OREANDA-NEWS The program "Ambassadors of the Russian language in the World" has started working in India for the third time, RIA Novosti correspondent reports.
The program is organized by the Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science and the assistance of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. For two weeks, Russian language ambassadors will work at Jawaharlal Nehru University, and separate classes will be held at Delhi University and Bluebells International School."
"This is the third expedition of Russian language ambassadors to India, and we are pleased to once again join forces with India's leading educational centers in the field of Russian studies. This will make it possible to introduce as many Indian schoolchildren and students as possible to modern Russia and the Russian language. We strive to inspire young people to learn Russian and enroll in Russian universities, create an intercultural dialogue and a lasting bridge of friendship between Russia and India, including in the context of developing cooperation through BRICS," said Nikita Gusev, Rector of the Pushkin Institute.
Russian Russians from India will get acquainted with the achievements of Russian culture, science and education, with the works of famous Russian poets and artists, take part in games, master classes in traditional crafts and learn Russian folk dances. A cultural program and sightseeing tour of Delhi will also be organized for Russian volunteers in order to promote intercultural dialogue.
