OREANDA-NEWS The Russian Embassy in Turkey, in response to a request from RIA Novosti, said it was taking security measures against the backdrop of the escalation in the Middle East.

Earlier, the embassy told RIA Novosti that the situation in the Middle East makes it necessary to strengthen the security measures of Russian diplomatic institutions in the countries of the region.

"With regard to Russian foreign institutions, such actions are being fully implemented in the Republic of Turkey," the Russian diplomatic mission in Ankara said in response to a request from RIA Novosti about security measures against the background of the situation in the Middle East.
