OREANDA-NEWS  A village in Primorye was covered with toxic smoke due to a fire at a landfill. The Amur Mash Telegram channel drew attention to the situation in the Russian region.

We are talking about the village of Vladimiro-Alexandrovskoye, which is located near a landfill that has been burning for four days. In a video shot by a local resident, you can see thick, acrid smog standing like a dark wall in the village in the mornings. People complain that the smoke has made it difficult for them to breathe, as well as a sore throat and cough.

At the moment, special equipment is extinguishing smoldering areas. In the administration of the Partizansky district, journalists were informed that the work was complicated by the wind. Officials urged local residents to be patient and wait.

Earlier it was reported that Khabarovsk has been enveloped in smoke for several days due to forest fires.
