OREANDA-NEWS  It is forbidden to cut down Red Book trees and shrubs in the country. Polina Trishina, a lawyer at the Moscow Horticultural Union, warned Russians about this in a conversation with News.ru .

According to the expert, when buying a seedling, for example, oak, pine or maple, it is worth saving the receipt and fixing the fact of planting on the photo. "It will come in handy if you want to cut it down: after all, in this case you will have to prove that you personally once bought a seedling," the specialist shared the information. At the same time, Trishina continued, it is possible to cut down fruit trees without any restrictions.

The lawyer also noted that if an emergency tree grows in the country and there is a danger that it may fall on the house or other buildings, it is important to contact the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The department's staff should draw up a report on the tree's accident status and only after that it can be removed, she concluded.
