OREANDA-NEWS  The Russians withdrew a record amount of cash — 100 billion rubles — during the rebellion of the founder of the private military company (PMCs) "Wagner" Evgeny Prigozhin. This is stated in the materials of the Central Bank.

The regulator calculated that on June 23-25, a fifth of the outflow of liquidity from banks in June fell.

"The increase in the volume of cash in circulation does not lead to problems in conducting monetary policy," the Central Bank noted, pointing out that this factor is taken into account when determining the parameters of transactions with banks.

Yevgeny Prigozhin, after being accused of hitting the camp of the Wagner PMCs, announced a "march of justice" and the beginning of the mutiny on the morning of June 24. Representatives of the PMCs passed the Rostov, Voronezh and Lipetsk regions in a day, moving to Moscow. On the evening of June 24, the press service of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko reported that Prigozhin deployed columns.
