OREANDA-NEWS  The main areas of work of the State Duma deputies in 2023 will be the issues of the social sphere and the rights of the mobilized, as well as the adaptation of the legislation of the regions that have become part of Russia.

Svetlana Zhurova, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, a member of the United Russia faction, said that bills related to new regions will be one of the most important for the party.

Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR), Kherson and Zaporozhye regions need to be brought into a single legislative space

"The president also set a task for families and children. We talked about using maternity capital for other needs, for example. Support for families, children and those in need — if we understand that targeted assistance is needed, we will additionally adopt bills," Zhurova said.

The Communists will continue to work according to the program agreed by the party, said the first deputy chairman of the Committee on Information Policy, a member of the Communist Party Alexander Yushchenko.

"Within the framework of our program, which has been formulated, which has received support, there are 13 main draft laws on filling the budget, the raw material base of strategic enterprises, taxation, the law on education for all, social guarantees," the parliamentarian shared

We have already introduced several bills, including the abolition of raising the retirement age. Many bills have been introduced, signed by the faction, the leadership of the faction. We will insist on an early consideration

The chairman of "Fair Russia — For the Truth" Sergey Mironov called improving the lives of citizens the main priority of the faction.

An important area of legislative work, of course, will remain the support of its participants. We will make every effort to ensure that the efforts of our heroes are appreciated by the state.
