OREANDA-NEWS  Washington is not ready for a military conflict with Moscow if Ukraine joins NATO. The degree of readiness was assessed by the assistant to the US President for National Security Jake Sullivan, Politico reports.

"If Ukraine joins NATO while the war is going on, it will mean that NATO is at war with Russia, and this will mean that the United States is at war with Russia. And neither NATO nor the United States were ready for this," the White House spokesman said.
