OREANDA-NEWS The French magazine France Football named the winner of the Golden Ball award, the prize for the best football player at the end of the 2024/2025 season. 

It was PSG striker Ousmane Dembele. The ceremony took place at the Chatelet Theatre in Paris.

Earlier it became known that the Golden Ball award ceremony will take place on September 22. Yamal was named the main contender for the award.

Last season, Manchester City and Spain midfielder Rodri was named the best player of the year. Emiliano Martinez, goalkeeper of Aston Villa and the Argentine national team, won the Lev Yashin Prize.
