OREANDA-NEWS   Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov commented on the statement by the High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kai Kallas, about Europe's demands in negotiations with Russia, calling it a "street statement." The words of the Kremlin representative are quoted by RIA Novosti.

"These are the usual street statements of this lady, to which everyone has already become accustomed and to which, I would say, few people react. Well, who's going to react to that?" — He said.

Earlier, Callas said that the EU, in the event of negotiations on a settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, would demand that Russia limit its Armed Forces. According to her, the European Union should demand from Moscow the same concessions that Moscow demands from Kiev.

Kallas added that the EU would also demand "the withdrawal of Russian troops from Moldova and Georgia," meaning by Georgia the territories of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, since there are no Russian military personnel in the republic itself.
