OREANDA-NEWS There will be no agreements that would harm Russia's security interests, said Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia.

"There will be no agreements to the detriment of Russia's security interests," Nebenzia said at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Ukraine.

The diplomat added that any attempts by Russia to freeze the conflict under the pretext of a ceasefire in order to give Kiev time to regroup and rearm are doomed to failure.

"No frequency of Security Council meetings on Ukraine will change anything," he added.
