OREANDA-NEWS  The Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant named after Yu.A. Gagarin of the United Aircraft Corporation (PJSC UAC, part of Rostec State Corporation) has manufactured and handed over to the Russian Defense Ministry the next batch of new Su-35S aircraft. The Coordination Council under the Government of the Russian Federation controls ensuring the needs of the armed forces in equipment and compliance with delivery deadlines.

"In recent years, a significant amount of investment has been invested in the technical re-equipment and modernization of the capacities of defense industry enterprises within the framework of federal targeted programs. New production infrastructure facilities have been built, technological capacities have been increased, equipment has been updated, and new Russian-made machines have been delivered. Today, these investments are working to solve the tasks of a special military operation and strengthen the defense capability of our country," said Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. – The industry does not fail, in particular, the Rostec aviation cluster provides both the supply of new equipment and the maintenance and restoration of the airworthiness of the existing fleet, promptly responding to the requests of the armed forces."

We deliver aviation equipment within the terms stipulated by the contracts, ensuring the needs of the Russian Defense Ministry in modern aviation complexes," said Yuri Slyusar, General Director of the United Aircraft Corporation. – To carry out production programs, technical re-equipment and retrofitting of the necessary equipment continues at the enterprise today. We are also solving a personnel problem. Over 500 new production workers and engineers have already been employed at KnAAZ in 2022. We plan to recruit the same number of new specialists for working and engineering specialties next year."
