Forbidden Technologies announces that it is releasing companion mobile upload apps for Captevate
OREANDA-NEWS. Forbidden Technologies plc (AIM: FBT), the AIM-quoted owner and developer of Forscene (the market-leading cloud video platform), Captevate (the consumer video editor), and eva (the video social network), announces that it is releasing companion mobile upload apps for Captevate.
The Captevate iOS and Android upload apps enable users to simply upload any video clips or photos from their mobile devices into Forbidden's cloud anytime, anywhere. This overcomes the biggest barrier for users editing in the cloud, which is getting the content into the cloud in the first place.
This app has opened up exciting additional features and potential apps that Forbidden can provide. The Company is just completing another companion app, Captevate TV, which simply brings users' edited movies back into their living rooms on the big screen via Apple TV.
With support for video recording, the release of the Captevate companion apps means users now have all the tools needed to easily record, upload, edit and watch their video creations.
These products are an example of Forbidden's ability to develop simple apps quickly and efficiently.
Jovana Ljiljak, Captevate General Manager and Director of Marketing said:
"These companion apps are branded Captevate, but are in fact just part of Forbidden's cloud video platform solution. The upload app enables users to bring mobile content simply and efficiently into Forbidden's cloud for editing in both Captevate and Forscene."
Captevate Upload is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play store today. Captevate TV development is completed and awaiting app store approval.
