OREANDA-NEWSThe TV advertising market, despite an increase in audience in conditions of self-isolation, will begin to recover no earlier than 2021. Industry experts told the Russian media about it on Monday.

Earlier, the deputy head of the Ministry of Communications Alexey Volin told the Russian media that the trends that are now affecting the market threaten to deprive television of 30-35% of advertising budgets.

The CEO of MediaHills Andrei Boyarinov noted that the television advertising market, indeed, dipped and its quick recovery is impossible. "The largest advertisers, and in most cases these are international companies, have faced a crisis in their main and home markets. They are actively reducing marketing activity in developing countries", the agency’s interlocutor said. “Our market will recover from the impact no earlier than next year".

At the same time, Russian companies that continue to advertise significantly reduce their budgets and direct them to the most effective targeted channels.
