Ukrainian nuclear power plants have limited electricity generation

OREANDA-NEWS Electricity generation by Ukrainian nuclear power plants is limited due to damage to substations, said Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Nagornyak.
"The dispatcher artificially restricts the generation of nuclear power plants, because not all of the electrical energy can be received by Ukrenergo substations, because they are damaged. Secondly, DTEK substations located in Kiev and the Kiev region cannot be accepted," the Ukrainian Kiev-24 TV channel quoted the deputy as saying.
This fall, the work of the subway and ground electric transport was repeatedly interrupted in Kiev due to power outages in the Ukrainian capital. It was also reported about the restriction of the water supply and sewerage networks in Kiev. Prolonged power outages are also observed in other regions of Ukraine. Local authorities and Ukrainian media have repeatedly reported power outages in Odessa, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Kharkiv and other regions of the country.
