OREANDA-NEWS The organizers of the nationwide selection of the Estonian singer for the Eurovision song contest Eesti Laul have prepared satirical sketches about coronavirus, anti-masochists and opponents of vaccination for the final of the competition.

This was reported to the Estonian TV channel in Russian ETV+ by Karemel Killandi, the editor-in-chief of entertainment programs of ETV's state television. According to her, the plots are traditionally satirical and ironic in order to entertain the audience during the song contest.

The humorous clips starred actor Myart Avandi, journalists of the ERR State Television and Radio broadcasting Margus Saar and Ragnar Cond. According to the plot of one sketch, the Prime Minister of Estonia will meet with the coronavirus itself.

The final of the Eesti Laul competition will be held on Saturday, February 12. The government has made an exception for the finals, so up to 3,000 people can attend the dress rehearsal and final concert at the Saku Suurhall Center the day before.

The winner of the national selection will represent Estonia in Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Eurovision is an international pop song contest. It is held annually among the member countries of the European Broadcasting Union. In 2022, the competition is to be held in Italy.
